After the ICS, Google prepares Jelly Bean Ice Cream Sandwich heirs. But a rumor from Taiwan claimed that the Jelly Bean is more optimized for tablets.
Some elements of the Chrome OS is likely to allow dual boot, the user can move from Windows to Android without shut down one OS. This new OS is an opportunity for Google to re-enter the world of notebooks and netbooks. Chrome OS so far considered a failure, because the less powerful as a notebook and also less portable as the tablet.
Although it smells a bit speculative, Google may be revealed to the world of Jelly Bean in the spring (March-May) and make a pitch for dual boot systems at the same time. Google I / O is to be held in June and on a regular basis.

So what would we like to see in Andoid Jelly Bean? Can Android 4.0 be topped, or would we all be better off with HTC Sense, TouchWiz, or surrendering to the weight of public opinion and buying an iPhone 4S?

Here’s what we’d like Google to include in Android Jelly Bean. Hit the comments to share your own Jelly Bean wishlist.

1. Full Chrome browser

2. Landscape Home screen on mobile

3. Give us a File Manager

4. Update the text input options

5. A clear upgrade path

6. Android Jelly Bean Lite

7. User interface on/off toggles

8. Focus on power efficiency and management

9. A lighter theme option

10. Lock screen widgets

The best online Android resources

Recently I have been scouring the web for the best Android resources. There is a whole host of information available however, the amount can feel overwhelming. One invaluable tool in ‘separating the wheat from the chaff’ was the Android section here, at the news aggregation site alltop.

And the prize for my top Android website goes to…

Although many of the resources proved useful, one stood out as indispensable. AndroidPIT’s android website provides information about all things android, including a whole wealth of information and applications attractive for Android smart phones users. From the latest news and reviews to test reports, even the most discerning reader is sure to find useful content here. Their wide range of android apps to download include:

Themes

Games

Office suites

and much more. Not only are you sure to want to fill your current device up with the latest apps but too, to consider newer devices on the market. For instance, I found invaluable information on Archos tablets with LTE 4G and NFC Technology and am sure to consider one for my next purchase.

I learnt that green technology is the driving force behind Archos’ coming generation of Android tablets as the popular tablet PC producer shifts its focus to more contentious production methods. Archos is cooking up a solar-powered 4G/LTE and NFC capable tablet, which might just make recharging a thing of the past. These were all things I was not aware of before and I feel now, as a consumer, more aware of the inter workings of the Android community and thus can make a more informed decision regarding my next purchase.

Tablets of the Future

The 4G tablet with android borrows solar technology developed by French company Wysips to convert the tablets touchscreen into a photovoltaic panel, which can be used to supply the tablet with power. However, previous attempts to harness the power of the sun to make our little Androids run were generally confined to smartphones. The Smart 4G Tablet might be the first credible attempt to produce a solar-powered device. In the past the attempts have been aim at the usage of an external device. To have the capability right there in your own phone would truly be an exciting prospect. What do you all think? Would you be interested in a solar powered phone, is Archos’ approach one that we should support as consumers? Let me know your comments below.
